My name is Tina Cason, I am the District Ranger on the Magdalena Ranger District on the Cibola National Forest and Grasslands in New Mexico. I have been with the US Forest Service for the past 17 years, the last 16 of them was working with our ranchers who graze on our National Forest. I recently accepted the District Ranger position. I know the need of good Rangeland Mangers, and Land Management Agencies like the USFS is struggling with our applicant pool. I was hoping you could give some advice on how we can better reach the students to see if they may find a career with us in managing our Natural Resources on Federal Land. Currently there are over 300 positions being advertised at the SRM in Boise, ID.
