[SRM] Updates on RISE Symposium on 05 November 2022

Hi Everyone,

Here are some updates about the RISE Symposium on Saturday, 05 November 2022:

  1.  Yes, we are going to have an in-person only program, no Zoom this year. See the attached program that includes the 19 posters.
  2.  There are no registration fees, and lunch is free to those 77 people who registered.
  3.  Tierra Seca Student Club will provide coffee, juice and food from 830-900 am. They accept donations for these goods, and you can donate your saved registration fee to the Club.
  4.  Between 830-900 am, come to the registration table to pick up your name tag, which will get you the free lunch.
  5.  The meeting room (230 Marley) capacity is 80 people.
  6.  Bring warm clothes because the meeting room gets cold after sitting for several hours.
  7.  POSTER Presenters: see your poster number on page 2 of the Program, and place your poster on the corresponding numbered poster board (pins will be provided) before 9 am. Please send a pdf version of your poster to Jason.Wong at usda.gov by Friday 04 November 2022 so that we can archive it and project it during your poster introduction at 11:35 am on 05 Nov 2022.
  8.  COVID precautions: masks are recommended but not required.
