My name is Jacqueline Thomas and I am the Administrative Officer for the Santa FE National Forest, here in Santa Fe NM.



The Forest Service as a whole has a main focus in mind- to hire our next generation of leaders that reflect the communities that we serve in mission critical and hard to fill occupations. To perform as an high excelling agency, we must continue to recruit a diverse workforce, promote inclusive culture, and have the most effective recruiting measures on college campuses  throughout the US.



 For these reasons, we will be conducting a first ever strategic virtual hiring event in Duluth, MN at the Natural Areas Conference from September 6th 2022 to September 12th 2022. Below, you will find the flyer that describes the event, how to register and RSVP to the open house that will be conducted on September 8th 2022 from 10 am to 1600. Please feel free to distribute this email as well as my contact information to prospective college students, graduates and alumni for any questions or comments that might arise as I welcome new contacts and networks.
