[SRM] 10/02/2021 NEON Event!

[Tierra Seca]

Hi all,

As we discussed at our meeting on Tuesday, Katie Matthiesen from NEON
(National Ecological Observatory Network) has invited both Tierra Seca and
the UA Fish & Wildlife Club to a field day on the Santa Rita Experimental
Range (SRER) *this Saturday, October 2nd!*

The goals are to introduce anyone who might be interested in flora
protocols (plant diversity, herbaceous biomass, phenology, etc.) and fauna
protocols (beetle/mosquito sampling, small mammal handling) used by NEON
field technicians.

We will meet at the SRER at 8 AM to beat the heat and finishing up around
11 AM. More details to come once we have a headcount.
