Rangers - please help me circulate this DEMO vacancy announcement for a Natural Resource Specialist GS-401-7/9 located in Marion, VA on the Mount Rogers NRA George Washington & Jefferson NF. This position focuses open area management through an established grazing program. The NRA’s grazing program manages 30 permits covering approximately 7,000 acres on National Forest lands. Additionally, the Natural Resource Specialist position performs number of other duties including Wildlife, Timber and Prescribed Fire support, Project Planning & Implementation and Coordination as well as Specialist Input for Projects requiring NEPA.
