[SRM] Tierra Seca meeting update and minutes

[Tierra Seca]

Hi everyone!

We had a club meeting on Zoom yesterday.  Below are the most important
points for everyone.  Also attached are the minutes from the meeting (more
info than below).

   - Dr. Aaron Lien will be teaching RAM382 this year.  He has money
   available for students to make education plant ID videos.  If anyone is
   interested Aaron can be reached at alien at arizona.edu
   - Is anyone interested in helping with long-term monitoring for Pima
   County or Altar Valley? It would involve going out a day each month or so.
   Email Jacob if you are interested - jacobbrown64 at email.arizona.edu
   - URME - A scheduling email has been sent out.
   - Plant ID - First meeting is on Monday, September 14 from 5-7pm. (

   - Elkhorn monitoring will be on November 6.  This will involve going to
   the Altar Valley to conduct plant surveys
   - If anyone has cans, email Jacob (jacobbrown64 at email.arizona.edu)
   - Dues- $30/semester.  Venmo prefered (@tierraseca)
