Hello colleagues,
I wanted to let you know about a GS-7 TERM Biotechian position we're trying to fill here at Mid-Columbia River NWRC in Eastern Washington. The person will serve as the Crew Leader for our mobile strike team and support implementation of invasive species (mostly plant) control projects at all 7 Refuges of the Complex, as well as Hanford Reach National Monument. All relevant details are in the attached flyer and I am happy to field questions from interested candidates.
There is never, ever a dull moment out here and we're looking for a hard-working and detail-oriented individual but someone who can thrive in a highly dynamic environment. Passion for habitat management and invasives control is a must. If you know of a good candidate who has experience in vegetation management, mapping, and/or crew leadership, please share the attached flyer with them. This is a really important position in our organization and we're looking to build a strong applicant pool. The application period begins on Monday and we are shooting for a two week application window. It is open to all US Citizens.
