> I know this might not sound super fun, but Liz Miller is a great teacher and will probably have some very useful insights. Attending this seminar would probably help both with writing and researching for classes, but perhaps more importantly for doing scientific writing if that is a thing you see in your future. For example, if you are thinking of going to graduate school to do research, there is a fellowship through NSF (the GRFP) which you should apply for as an undergraduate. It guarantees two years of funding and sets you up well to receive awards down the line (government agencies like to invest in individuals they have already invested in).

> Our EEB Undergraduate Ambassadors and Liz Miller are hosting a Scientific Writing Workshop Sept 6th for undergraduate students. We are hoping you will share this with any undergraduates you are mentoring or who are working in your labs this term if you have time/ deem appropriate. I have attached the flyer they made and forwarded the listserv email I sent out below. This workshop is meant for science majors and would be most helpful for juniors and seniors.
