[Srm] Tierra Seca October 11 Meeting Minutes + Important Club Reminders

Hey all,

Thanks to everyone who came to the meeting this week! We had a really great presentation from Dr. Mcclaran at the meeting - an outline of what he spoke about is included at the very end of the minutes so check it out. Below are just a couple reminders about things coming up.

- RISE Symposium is next Saturday the 21st ~ I will be sending out an email reminder to the volunteers from the club next week to figure out where/when to meet. Please let me know if you’d like to go if you aren’t already on the list.

- Elk/LD fall monitoring is coming up November 3rd. I will be reserving deens excuses and cars next week so let me know asap if you would like to go and I don’t have your name down in the minutes. 

- I’ll send a doodle poll next week to figure out a date for the club social so please keep an eye on your inbox for that and vote! 

- If you are on the Plant ID or URME team and you don’t already have an SRM membership I included the link in the minutes … registration has also opened for the conference and I put that link in the minutes as well.

- If you are interested in doing the Rangeland Cup for the SRM conference please contact Aaron Lien (amlien at cals.arizona.edu <mailto:amlien at cals.arizona.edu>) ~ It would be really cool to have some people from the club do this and he says it is much less of a time commitment than URME or Plant ID.
