> My name is John McQuaig, your 2017-2018 SRM Student Conclave Vice President. On behalf of the other Student Conclave officers and the SRM Young Professionals Conclave (the collaborators of this event) I would like to inform you all of an event that will be premiering this year at the 2018 National SRM Convention and Trade Show in Sparks, Nevada. This event is titled Bridging the Gap, and it will be taking place on Tuesday, January 30th from 4:00-5:30pm.  This will be an interactive way for students to come into contact with numerous professionals in our career field that can give insight on future career path choices and hiring opportunities to students. By making initial contact will these professionals, you will be able to have an initial connection that could turn into a follow-up conversation later during the meeting, which in turn could develop into a internship/full-time employment opportunity. Attached is a flyer and and information sheet about this upcoming event. I hope to see you all there! Though you are not required to RSVP to this event, it would be helpful if those of you who are interested in attending could fill in your information in the Google Excel sheet in the link below:
