On behalf of the other Student Conclave officers and the SRM Young Professionals Conclave (the collaborators of this event) I would like to inform you all of an event that will be premiering this year at the 2018 National SRM Convention and Trade Show in Sparks, Nevada. This event is titled Bridging the Gap, and it will be taking place on Tuesday, January 30th from 4:00-5:30pm. This will be an interactive way for students to come into contact with numerous professionals in our career field that can give insight on future career path choices and hiring opportunities to students. By making initial contact will these professionals, you will be able to have an initial connection that could turn into a follow-up conversation later during the meeting, which in turn could develop into a internship/full-time employment opportunity.
