Are you completing an internship this summer but not getting academic credit?

Are you prepared to make the most of your internship?

The Leap Internship Program can help you get ready and thrive in your summer internship for no cost, with UA support, with a minimal additional time commitment.

WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO

1.       Have a paid or un-paid internship experience already lined up (at least 45-hours onsite). This course does not help you find an internship.

2.       Complete the six, online self-guided modules. They will help you to prepare, as well as articulate what you've learned to potential employers.
Once you've completed all your assignments and internship hours, you will receive an Engaged Learning notation<http://ose.arizona.edu/100-engagement/how-it-works> on your academic record, officially recording your experience on your transcript.
Whenever you submit your transcript to a graduate school application or a potential employer, this experience will be listed.

WHAT YOUR EMPLOYER HAS TO DO
Your internship employer will also have a minimal time commitment. We will ask your supervisor to complete:

*         A signed internship agreement form

*         A record of hours worked

*         A complete evaluation
