Online registration is now available for the AZSRM Summer Meeting. A mail-in registration form and the meeting agenda can also be found at the registration website:
https://srm.allenpress.com/srm/SECTIONMEETINGS/ARIZONA.aspx.

  1.  Please register as early as possible to help Chris plan for the chuckwagon dinner.
  2.  The Section general membership meeting will be held at the campground at 7 pm on Wednesday August 5.
  3.  We are waiting to hear about ceu's.

Directions:
>From Arizona Highway 69 turn south on Walker Road (by Costco, Petsmart and AM/PM gas station). Go 3.5 miles to the Lynx Lake Southshore Day Use Area turn-off and head east (left). Entry to Eagle Ridge Group Campground is 230 feet from Walker Road on the left (north side of the road).  Road, ramada and RV spurs are paved.
  2.  There are other events in Prescott so if you plan to stay in a hotel make your reservations as early as possible.
  3.  For those interested in cowboy music/poetry, this year's AZ Cowboy Poets Gathering will take place on Aug 6-8 in Prescott.  There will be concerts each evening at 7pm. One feature that might also be of interest is a presentation on Mongolia range and herders by Gail Steiger and Doug Tolleson that will be held in the Performing Arts Center Auditorium on Friday starting at about 12:30 or 1.

  4.  On Wednesday August 5, 2015, just prior to the AZSRM Summer Meeting in Prescott, an afternoon workshop will be conducted by Arizona Cooperative Extension specialists Mike Crimmins and Doug Tolleson focusing on Internet drought/weather related tools and how to use them.
  5.  Bring your own firewood.
