Subject: Range/Wildlife Position - Tucson AZ Game & Fish
Hello,
Please HELP me get the word out that the Arizona Game and Fish Department expects to hire a TUCSON BASED “NRCS Partner Biologist”. However, due to internal process constraints, approval to advertise for a Tucson position hasn’t yet been granted BUT WE MAY HIRE OFF THE CURRENT PHOENIX-BASED HIRING LIST due to time constraints!! This position closes MAY 13TH!
I know it’s crazy but the bottom line is that this is a great opportunity for someone with a RANGE/WILDLIFE BACKGROUND to work with ranches all over southeast Arizona to improve wildlife habitat. I’ve copied and pasted the job announcement from the State Jobs website along with a link to it below. Please forward this email far and wide and encourage folks with Range experience to apply. The job announcement says a bachelor’s degree in “Wildlife Science or closely related field” but I’m assured that people with degrees in Range Management will be considered. Nevertheless I advise anyone applying to contact me so I can ensure that they aren’t cut from the list because they don’t have a wildlife degree. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working for NRCS on Coordinated Resource Management Plans and have knowledge of both Range and Wildlife.
Thanks!
John Windes
