Tierra Seca members,

As the President of Tierra Seca, I serve as the club representative to
ASUA. A couple of the candidates running in the ASUA general election have
asked me to forward some emails to the students today to gather
support/awareness for the election itself as well as the candidates and
their platforms specifically.

If you are interested, please see the two forwarded emails below, and
please note that the views of Tierra Seca are not a reflection of the
candidates and their views. We do not have an official "club status" for
who we support in the election, rather this email is a way for some of the
candidates to gain recognition. Please let me know if you have any
questions.

Thanks,

Kelsey Hawkes

Hey Wildcats,

Today marks the day of ASUA General Elections! My name is Chad Travis and
I'm a Presidential candidate. I'll leave three of the goals and visions
I'd like to accomplish bullet pointed below, and I encourage you to read
more atelections.asua.arizona.edu!

1. Gen Ed. Courses that can be taken in half a semester to give more time
for students in one half of a semester
2. Monitor Professors requring textbooks they've authored so there is an
alert system when a professor is using only 10-15 pages or comes out with a
new edition each year
3. Add resume writing to Freshmen English courses so first year students
can graduate being as competitive in the job market as possible

*Voting can be done at asua.arizona.edu*. If you have any questions at
all, my email address istravis at email.arizona.edu. Thank you so much for
your time.

Bear Down,
Chad Travis
