Hi Chris,
I’m looking for field assistants to help with some field work this fall (details below). Recent grads from your area would be perfect. Is there a listserv for your department that you might be able to post this to? Or, would you please circulate this email to anyone you know who might be interested? Thanks so much!
Hope all is well.
Best wishes,
Amy
Field technician position available for plant demography censuses across California and southern Oregon from late August through mid October. The goal of the project is to examine variation in population dynamics across the geographic range of the scarlet monkeyflower (Mimulus cardinalis). All travel expenses will be covered. Must have valid driver’s license. Experience with scientific data collection, preferably in field settings, and hiking or backpacking are also required. Skills in GPS navigation and plant identification are desirable. Please send your resume to Amy Angert (amy.angert at botany.ubc.ca<mailto:amy.angert at botany.ubc.ca>) with "Mimulus field tech" in the subject line by July 20.
