[Srm] Tierra Seca Officer Nominations

Hello Tierra Seca Members!

At out last meeting we started submitting nominations for club officers for
the next academic year. We will hold the election (a.k.a. submit anonymous
votes into a box) at our next meeting (Wednesday April 18, 2012). At our
final meeting of the semester (May 2, 2012), we will announce the winners
of the election. It might not be much of an election this year because, as
of now, we don't have more than one person nominated for any of the four
officer positions (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary).

We will continue to accept nominations for officer positions until the
election at our next meeting. Feel free to email me with nominations or let
me know in person. Remember, the person that you nominate must accept the
nomination in order for them to be on the voting ballot. *You are
absolutely most welcome to nominate yourself for any office (a.k.a. run for
office) if you would like to participate in the leadership aspect of the
club*.

If you have any questions regarding officer duties/responsibilities or
anything else related to the election of officers please don't hesitate to
ask! I'm always available to answer questions. Don't forget to let me know
if you have any further nominations!

P.S. Please don't forget to respond to the Doodle Poll that Cameron sent
out a few days ago regarding an end of the year get-together. Thanks!
