Sage-Grouse Initiative Partners,

Through the Sage-Grouse Initiative (SGI), NRCS and its Conservation Partners have combined resources to increase technical assistance to western farmers and ranchers to accelerate implementation of practices designed to achieve sage-grouse conservation through sustainable ranching. This collaborative effort is being coordinated through a master agreement with the Intermountain West Joint Venture and Pheasants Forever in cooperation with 20 partners including state and federal agencies, conservation districts, non-government organizations and private industry. 17-24 new positions will be hired and supervised by non-federal partners, placed in NRCS service centers, and will be made available for 3 years in California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, South Dakota, Washington, and Wyoming.

In an effort to keep everyone apprised of the new job opportunities, the IWJV has assembled all the current position announcements throughout the West and have located them at the following site:
