[Risgchairs] Brainstorming session 5-7 May on IYRP 12 global themes global campaign

Dear All

Now that the IYRP 12 global themes have been revised and updated, and
recently shared by Igshaan with the IYRP International Support Group, it is
time for us to consider how to prepare the global campaign around these 12
themes for 2026. One theme per month; one message per day !

I have been collecting good information from the RISGs (thank you all who
contributed) with examples on how to convey the key messages.

*We now need the expertise of the entire communications team to weigh in
and help us develop this global campaign.*

I would like to propose a zoom meeting in early May to help us get started.
For the RISGs, please ensure that your communications team is copied and
will participate. I am including the IYRP Working Group Chairs and
encourage them  to identify communications expertise within their groups to
also participate. And I very much welcome the participation of Claudia
Forte Diaz, who will be heading the communications efforts of FAO on IYRP.

Attached are two documents:
a) the final 12 global themes and key messages
b) an excel sheet compiling examples, case studies, films, etc. offered by
RISGs and the IYRP Working Groups so far to animate the messages.
