[RangelandsPartnership] IYRP Public Art Education and Outreach Project

Hello IRYP Public Education and Outreach folks,

Brief reminder of a team meeting this Thursday, May 9th, at 2pm. (was best time/day from previous poll; zoom info below)

This effort is focused on IYRP public art research and education outreach.  The primary funding, Western SARE Research and Education grant, preproposal is due March 24th. A core project team is working on this pre-proposal based on your input.

Priorities to discuss:

  1.  Confirm if you can be listed as a collaborator on the project (ultimately this would mean eligibility for funds to support public outreach exhibits in your community, or similar)
  2.  Recruit farmers interested collaborating. Now only need name and email, verbal confirmation. Later a letter (template attached; but adequate).
  3.  Recruit letters from stakeholder organizations (template attached). Can be verbal confirmation are better
  4.  In meeting: we'll strategize discuss the framing and content for the pre-proposal, objectives. If you can, come with one idea of why artistic public outreach education is needed.

The collaboration is strong. Geographically and professionally, the group and our shared structure/approach presents a good foundation for reach and impact.
