Dear sir/madame,

With this email we would like to ask your assistance in responding to a short questionnaire regarding gaps in information and knowledge on rangelands and pastoralists. We are sorry for possible cross-posting.

The objective of the survey is to assess how organisations collect and perceive available information on rangelands and pastoralism. It is a follow up to the UN Environment Assembly resolution 24 passed in 2016, which requests UN Environment and its partners to conduct a gap analysis on rangelands and pastoralists.

This gap analysis is coordinated by a small team consisting of UN Environment, GRID-Arendal and Maryam Niamir-Fuller (independent expert). The survey is one out of several methods we are using to collect data.
