[RangelandsPartnership] ARS conference in Alice

Hello Everyone,

ARS had a wonderful and successful conference.  Jeanne and I toured around Alice for a bit and each went on one of the conference tours.  The wallaby picture is from one of our hikes around Alice that we did.  One evening we had a lovely dinner with John & Anne Taylor, Wal & Pam Walher, Jon Milne, and a few others.  We sampled the local fare, a mixed platter that contained kangaroo, emu, buffalo (asiatic water buffalo), camel, and crocodile.

Daytime temperatures were in the mid to high 90s during our week there and yes that was warm for this Alaska woman, since it was snowing the day I left Anchorage.  I have another couple of weeks in this warm climate and looking forward to many events, some work and some play. Wishing you all a good day.
