Hello Rangelands West Partners!

At the last meeting there was interest from some folks in managing their state sites through LibGuides.  Allison suggested we put together a discussion group of those interested to share LibGuides tips or to run ideas past each other.  I am happy to create a mailing list. Subject: [Rangelands] RangleandsWest NIFA Partnership Award - UPDATE

Dear Rangelands West Partner,

Thanks to those of you who gave Jeanne and I input for the NIFA award nomination.  I just wanted you to know that we are close to the finish line. I have attached the current draft of the form.  I could use any input or edits you have before Friday morning (July 15th). Please send your edits or comments to me… if you have time.

I ran into one serious obstacle – a 3-PAGE LIMIT!  The document is a tiny bit long, but I can edit it down a bit. The real problem is there was no way to highlight activities of everyone in the WRP.  The guidelines stated that we had to include full detail of contributions made by every member of the team.  I decided to just highlight the input of 5 individuals as “Representative” of the WRP. Those are Barb Hutchinson, Jeanne Pfander, George Ruyle, John Tanaka and me. I hope that you will let the 5 of us represent you and accept this award on your behalf if we win. I am sorry, this is not a very satisfying solution, but I have tried to make it clear that we are just representing you.

If you have a few minutes, please take a look and give your input. If you are too busy, don’t worry…this is a “no guilt” request.
