Washington State University has an undergraduate research experience project (similar to NSF REU) on ag data science. More details on the project, sample program schedules, and student projects can be found at: https://labs.wsu.edu/sankaran-phenomics/undergrad-research-exp/.



This research experience will encompass sensor development, use of different proximal and remote sensing technologies, data processing, and data analysis associated with agricultural applications. Some of the skills developed in this research experience (image processing, data processing, genomics/phenomics, machine learning, etc.) are relevant to the medical and other biological applications.
