  1.  Spring 2019 Priority Registration - October 29 through November 13

Oct 1 - Spring 2019 Schedule of Classes is live and Shopping Cart is available in UAccess<https://uaccess.arizona.edu/> Student Center

Oct 18 - Check UAccess Student Center for your assigned enrollment start date

NEW THIS YEAR! Once your enrollment appointment begins, you will have continuous enrollment access through the first week of classes in Spring.

Enrollment Appointment Start Dates

Oct 29 -   Athletes, GI Bill Recipients, and senior/junior honors students
Nov 1 -    Seniors, Sophomore/Freshmen honors students
Nov 5 -    Juniors
Nov 8 -    Sophomores
Nov 13 -  Freshmen
Nov 16 -  All Access Enrollment

Enrollment dates are assigned based on units completed (including transfer credit)

0 - 29 units = Freshman
30 - 59 units = Sophomore
60 - 99 units = Junior
100 - 120+ units = Senior

How should I prepare?

  *   Check UAccess<https://uaccess.arizona.edu/> now for any to-do items or registration holds that will prevent registration
  *   Sign up for NetID+<https://it.arizona.edu/netid-plus>. Now required to access all campus services.
  *   Confirm your enrollment start date in UAccess beginning Oct 18
  *   Set a reminder on your calendar for your start date
  *    Schedule an Appointment<https://eagle.sbs.arizona.edu/advising/index.php?k=ad61ab143223efbc24c7d2583be69251#245> with your Academic Advisor ahead of time!
  *   Add classes to your UAccess shopping cart
  *   Use the "Check Eligibility<https://registrar.arizona.edu/sites/registrar.arizona.edu/files/documents/Check%20Eligibility.pdf>" feature in UAccess to verify that you are eligible for everything in your shopping cart
  *   Have some back up courses ready in case your first choice is unavailable

  1.  Important Dates & Reminders

October 12 -
*         Fall 2018 Change of Schedule form with instructor's permission to ADD or CHANGE classes is accepted until the end of the business day. After this, both instructor and Dean signatures will be required.
*         UAccess is still available to withdraw online through October 28.
October 15 -
*         All Change of Schedule forms to ADD or CHANGE classes require not only the instructor's signature indicating permission, but also the Dean's signature. By policy, permission from the Dean to make a registration change at this time requires an extraordinary reason.
*         UAccess is still available to withdraw online through October 28.

October 18 from 11am - 3pm in the Forbes Courtyard.
Employers are looking to hire CALS majors! Don't miss your chance to launch your future career!
Employers will be looking to fill full-time positions for December and May graduates as well as Summer interns.

  1.  UA Campus Pantry

The goal of the UA Campus Pantry is to reduce food insecurity in our Wildcat Community. At their distribution events, students and staff can grab important food staples at no cost. All you need is your CatCard! To find the campus Pantry, turn left at the information desk located next to the UMart in the Student Union. Proceed down the stairs and you will see a sign for the UA Campus Pantry. They are open every Wednesday from 12:00PM - 7:00PM and Fridays from 11AM - 3PM during the academic year.

5)      Exciting Year-Round Undergraduate Research Opportunity: Apply Now - Nov. 1 deadline
The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Consortium (UROC<https://grad.arizona.edu/uroc/>) is offering a year-round undergraduate research opportunity to students graduating May 2020. Benefits include engagement in year-round research, close faculty mentoring, intensive graduate school preparation, a free GRE prep class, a $4,000 stipend, 10-units of academic credit, the opportunity to write a research article, and the chance to present research at a UA summer research conference.   *   Eligible students would be juniors/seniors with a 3.00+ GPA from groups underrepresented in higher education, including first-generation college, Pell-eligible and transfer students, as well as veterans and students with disabilities.
  *   UROC is not a good fit for students interested in professional programs such as law, medicine, dentistry and business.

  1.  Coming Out Week Resource Fair 2018

Stop by the Coming Out Resource Fair, on Thursday, October 11, from 10am to 2pm on the mall in front of Old Main. There will be various LGBTQ+ groups on campus and LGBTQ+ community organizations tabling at this event.
Come learn more about them and the resources and services that they provide.
