Ideally this position is designed for a recent turfgrass graduate seeking a career in the industry. Gain hands on experience, management experience, and construction experience. Learn about golf course management in the south west desert, overseeding, transition, bentgrass management etc. The goal being having the 2nd assistant gain the knowledge and experience to further his career within 1 to 2 years.

Job Description
Mirabel is a private Tom Fazio designed golf course situated in North Scottsdale.  Scottsdale is home to some of the finest maintained clubs in the country and Mirabel is one of these elite clubs.  Established in 2001 and developed by Discovery Land Company.  Mirabel is now member owned and has exciting renovations planned for the summer of 2017.  A great learning experience.
Job Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who would like to join a very successful management team.  2nd Assistant Superintendent will be a working hands on position, along with supervision of the irrigation system and some staff supervision on projects and or in absence of 1st Assistant.  The summer of 2017 numerous golf course renovation projects are scheduled which will provide an exciting opportunity to any individual.
