Hello everyone,

Just a reminder that it is not too late to register for the student reception being held Monday, April 11th, 3:30 - 5:00 pm.  There will be a group from
the National Greenhouse Manufacturer's Association (NGMA) touring CEAC facilities, followed by a student reception in the Head House, 1971 E. Roger Road.  (See attached map for location of the Head House.)  The event will be a "meet and greet" type gathering.  Students will have the opportunity to meet NGMA personnel, introduce themselves and provide biographical information, with a potential for job opportunities in the future.  Bring a resume or other biographical information to share with the NGMA personnel.

Background Information
The NGMA [National Greenhouse Manufacturers Association] will be meeting in Tucson April 10 - 12, and will be on tour at the CEAC (Controlled Environment Agriculture Center) http://ag.arizona.edu/ceac  http://ag.arizona.edu/ceac from 1:30 - 5:00pm on April 11th.

They have agreed to support a reception of food and drink from on Monday, April 11th at the CEAC Roger/Campbell facility.  An RSVP is required by Thursday evening April 7th. Note:  Each person must register separately.  Names to appear on name tags.

CEAC is located at the northeast corner of Roger Rd and Campbell Ave, about 3 miles north of Speedway.  The following link contains a http://goo.gl/maps/yJjfy"> Map and Directions to The CEAC!

We believe in the importance of connecting students with the industry.  This event will potentially bring about 40 - 50 industry people from 25 - 30 different member companies to the Campus at the CEAC. This reception will allow for networking and offer time for individuals to introduce themselves to the group, and to distribute their resume.  These companies do not necessarily hire growers, but their clients do, and making personal references/relationship can be helpful.  They do hire people for sales and for project development, thus plant/agricultural production as well as engineering students, and sales students in general would benefit from this event.
