Call for submissions: Symbiosis: An Exhibit of Biological Art
We are very excited to announce an upcoming science and art event titled “Symbiosis: An Exhibit of Biological Art” to be held on Monday, April 20 from 5-7pm in the Gould-Simpson main lobby. This event is meant to showcase the aesthetic appeal of the life sciences and celebrate the fusion of science and art. The event will be co-hosted by the Neuroscience and Cognitive Science (NSCS) Ambassadors and the Nu Rho Psi neuroscience honors society.

We welcome submissions from any UA affiliate (students, faculty, staff) as well as members of the local Tucson community. We are eager to collect as many submissions as we can, and we deeply appreciate your time and consideration.

We welcome any form of expression, from photos and paintings to sculptures and musical performances. Artwork can be put up for sale at the event (10% will go to the event organizers), donated to the event organizers to sell or keep on display, or simply displayed at the event and returned to the artist afterward. We feel that this is a great opportunity for scientists and artists alike to showcase their unique, interdisciplinary talent.
