Hello Wildcats!

I am writing to invite you to an interest meeting to learn about an exciting opportunity to gain valuable clinical and agricultural experience with an organization that works to bring healthcare and sustainable agriculture to communities in Nicaragua.  If you are interested in a holistic approach to global health and learning more about this specific opportunity, please see more details below.

Interest Meeting Details: Monday 2/9 and Thursday 2/12 at 5pm in the Mesquite Room of the Student Union

Briefly, the service trip will allow you to:
 (1) Gain 40+ clinical hours working side-by-side with doctors and nurses at Clinca Verde<http://clinicaverde.org/> (http://clinicaverde.org/) in Boaco<http://vianica.com/nicaragua/boaco>, Nicaragua,
(2) Build a bio-intensive, demonstration farm with Global Student Embassy<http://www.globalstudentembassy.org/> (www.globalstudentembassy.org<http://www.globalstudentembassy.org/>).
(3) Help develop and implement a public health survey to evaluate perceptions of agriculture, nutrition and health, and
(4) Explore the beauty of the land of lakes, beaches and volcanoes in Nicaragua.

This interdisciplinary trip can also be tailored to fit your individual interests and goals.

When: May 22th to June 3rd, 2015
Where: Boaco, Nicaragua
