[Plsugs] Part Time Job With Pima Native Plant Nursery

The Pima County Native Plant Nursery is a two-acre facility devoted to
growing Sonoran Desert and desert-adapted plants specifically for public
spaces. We are looking to hire someone on a part-time (20-25hours/week,
flexible) as an Irrigation Technician/Lead Irrigator - intermittent
part-time. Primary responsibility will be to monitor the nursery irrigation
system -maintain, troubleshoot, build, repair as necessary. Background
knowledge and/or experience with irrigation systems required. Required to
work outside and lift up to 50 pounds. Other responsibilities will include
assisting with day-to-day operations of the NPN, including planting,
watering, weeding, loading and unloading plants, researching native plants,
greeting guests and answering questions. The ideal candidate will have an
interest in native plants, be conscientious and detail-oriented.
