Subject: Heritage Foods of the Borderlands, September 21st

Dear Friends,

As part of a new direction for my work with the Tucson Oasis Initiative to
provide in-depth information about the region's heritage, connect the
community to traditional practitioners and collaborate with local non-profit
organizations, I am organizing a Heritage Foods of the Borderlands field day
for Saturday, September 21st, 2013. This will be part course in the
agricultural geography of the region and part farm visits and flavors! I am
charging $150 to be able to give each of the farms generous stipends, plus
pay for two full meals of local, heritage foods and wine. I have attached a
flier and itinerary. Please contact me if you are, or you know of anyone who
might be interested. I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you so much,
