[Plsgs] An update for our student community

Dear graduate students,

We are profoundly saddened to share that Dr. Mike Worobey in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology has communicated the identity of the victim in Tuesday's tragic loss of life: Lorena Malpica Serrano, a graduate student in EEB.

Please join us in sharing our condolences with our friends in the EEB community, and all those in our SPLS community who are part of Lorena’s circle.

We ask that we all act in mutual support and care, and that everyone please take advantage of the resources listed below. This moment affects us all in different ways, and care for yourselves and one another across our community is so important. Please note this lovely thought that Mark has chosen to share: Our love of science unites us, but our humanity and respect for each other define us.
