Please note the following fellowship opportunity:

The Graduate College sponsors an annual award, the Peter W Likins Graduate Fellowship (https://grad.arizona.edu/funding/opportunities/peter-w-likins-graduate-fellowship-award) to 1st and 2nd year MS and PhD students who have had "overcome substantial adversity to be accepted for admission and demonstrates successful academic progress in the graduate program (Master's or doctoral) at UArizona." The department may nominate one graduate student, and you may self-nominate or nominate another student to be considered as the departmental nomination for this award. The application is due by February 28 and needs to be uploaded to the appropriate assignment folder in the D2L Graduate student support site. The Graduate Programs Committee will review and select the application to nominate in March. The departmental nomination application will be due by April 8.
