The Graduate Center and Campus Health are pleased to announce two workshops for graduate students in Fall 2023: Quick and Healthy Meals on a Budget and Creating Healthy Professional Relationships and Boundaries. Quick and Healthy Meals on a Budget

  *   Date: 9/15/2023
  *   Time: 2 PM to 3 PM
  *   Hybrid and In-person in the Graduate Center, Room 102 and on Zoom

  *   Description: Healthy eating is critical to maintaining one's well-being, but it can be difficult because of the cost of healthy food and the many commitments and opportunities that fill our schedules. In this interactive presentation, you will learn to build satisfying meals while keeping your sanity and staying under budget.

Creating Healthy Professional Relationships and Boundaries

  *   Date: October 13, 2023
  *   Time: 2 PM to 3 PM

  *   Hybrid - Hybrid and In-person in the Graduate Center, Room 102 and on Zoom

  *   Description: Discover your own self-care plan, learn the power of saying "no," and practice setting boundaries. This session will focus on applying strategies to situations common to graduate students, such as interactions in the lab, classroom, interacting with one's mentor(s) and undergraduates, and more; the strategies are applicable to personal relationships as well.
