Dear Graduate Students,


Every year, graduate students at the University of Arizona enter a research presentation competition called Grad Slam. The winner takes home $3000 dollars for a 3-minute presentation. It is an excellent opportunity for you to enhance your communication skills, and it's an effective way to showcase to the community and the public the innovative research and creative work associated with graduate education.

This is the story of seven Grad Slam champions: how they won, what they would've done differently, and their advice for potential entrants.


Join us for a public viewing of the short film, "Grad Slam: Research as Story." Members of the team behind the film will be on site. Light refreshments will be served.
