The Graduate Center's first Spring 2023 Crafternoons event for graduate students is now open for registration. These stress-relieving, community-building programs have been very popular; we provide all the materials and snacks, and participants bring their creativity. As always, Graduate Center programs are free to attend. Please forward the following message to your students. We appreciate your help with communications, and we look forward to seeing your students.

Dear Students,

You are welcome to spend a laidback afternoon of destressing socializing, and making studio collage art at the Graduate Center. This event is designed to help you become more acquainted with graduate students from a variety of different backgrounds and to find a quiet and friendly space dedicated to making art.

Next Crafternoons Event:
Mandala Painting and CAPS services review

*  March 17, 2 to 4 PM, In Person, Graduate Center

Join us at the Graduate Center for a Crafternoons mandalas event while mitigating cultural notions such as perfectionism, production, and urgency. We will engage in a short yoga practice, guided meditation, and mandala history exploration, and you will create your own mandala. No yoga experience or yoga mats are required. While you work, a member of the CAPS staff will share information about support services for graduate students. Space is limited.
