Hello SPLS Grads,

Last week after the tragic event that took place last Wednesday, I had open office hours for you to talk and check-in with you. Some students mentioned they did not receive any alerts via text messages and did not know what was happening. Many were working in labs and did not have access to updates that were being provided by email. Today at a meeting, we were informed that if you signed up for UAlerts for text messages, the request does have an expiration date and has to be updated. For those of you who would like to receive text messages about emergency situations on campus, you can sign-up or update your subscription through the following link, UAlert | UACIRT (arizona.edu)<https://cirt.arizona.edu/ualert>. I hope you find this information helpful and you consider signing up to receive these alerts to your cell phone.
