The UArizona NASA Space Grant Program is soliciting applications for our
2022-23 Graduate Outreach Fellowships
Please help us spread the word!
We seek students interested in promoting the understanding of scientific research to the public through an educational outreach project. Candidates must be full-time AY22-23 graduate students at the UArizona enrolled in a STEM degree, have at least a 3.2 GPA, and be a citizen of the United States per NASA (federal) funding guidelines. Applications are especially encouraged from members of underrepresented groups and women. This fellowship is co-sponsored by the UArizona Graduate College and the applicant's home department. Students must receive department approval of their application so reach out to your department early.
Fellowships include a stipend of $16,000, both in- and out-of-state fee/tuition waivers, student health insurance, and $750 in travel funds for professional meetings. For more information and to apply, please visit our graduate fellowship website (linked here)<https://spacegrant.arizona.edu/students/fellowships>.
A notice of intent (NOI) to apply is due March 18, 2022. Applications are due April 18, 2022, and awards will be announced by early May for this AY22-23 award.
Students who submit an NOI will be invited to a virtual information session in late March. Potential applicants that miss the NOI deadline are still welcome to apply, however, we highly encourage submitting an NOI to be notified directly of the information session.
