[Plsgs] Free registration for Grad Students - UIUC Plant Sciences Symposium

We are still accepting the abstracts for two 15-minute graduate student talks. If chosen, the students will receive full Travel (including airfare) and Accommodation Scholarships as well as a cash prize. The abstracts for two 15-minute graduate student speeches are still being accepted. If selected, the students will be awarded a monetary reward in addition to full travel (including flight) and lodging scholarships. We also welcome applications for our poster session from graduate and undergraduate students, and we provide partial travel and lodging scholarships.

We are proud to announce that registration is now open for the 2022 UIUC Plant Sciences Symposium on September 16th  from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This year, the symposium will be focusing on the theme: “Innovations Connecting Complex Biosystems: From Cells to Ecosystems.” Registration can be found at https://symposium.cropsciences.illinois.edu/. We are currently seeking abstracts for two 15-minute graduate student talks. If chosen, the students will receive full Travel (including airfare) and Accommodation Scholarships as well as cash prize. In addition to these scholarships, both undergraduate and graduate students can also apply for our poster session. Undergraduate and graduate student poster presenters are automatically entered into a poster competition that includes cash prizes for the best posters/presenters. This is an excellent opportunity to bolster students’ CVs and resumes and network with individuals from both industry and academia. The event will be held in UIUC's ACES Library.

This year the University of Illinois Plant Science Symposium intends to explore the latest innovations connecting different biological systems. We are looking to showcase students connecting different types of biological and ecological data, combining different -omics data, comparative genetics and genomics, layering environmental data, and many more applications.
