Hi all,
Please read through all the information in this email. Not all will pertain to you, but those working in labs on campus have specific requirements to use the Wildcat Wellcheck app to check in every day you will be coming to campus. Mask distribution is delayed so be sure to bring your own mask if you are coming on to campus. Let us know if you do not have a mask and we can help you get one.

The Remote work agreement applies to staff and faculty, so you don't need to do that but you will need to fill out the Lab worker agreements provided by your faculty advisors before beginning work in the laboratory.

Subject: Fall 2020 UPDATES

Welcome to the start of the Fall 2020 semester!  I am sending this message to provide some updates and guidance, all in one place, as we welcome students back to UArizona!

Updates include:

  *   Key Desk Changes: starting on 08/24 the key desk will only issue keys by appointment- this may cause a delay in collecting keys that are requested.  Please continue to submit key and building access requests through the SPLS Ticket System but note I will have to schedule an appointment with the key desk in order to pick up keys.
  *   Business Office Hours: As of 08/24, the Forbes lobby doors will be open for access and the SPLS Business Office will resume normal operations for the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm daily (closed for lunch 12pm-1pm).  The SPLS Business Office staff will be staggering schedules so only 2 members are in the office at a time.  Masks will be required to enter the business office.
  *   UArizona Mask Distribution: There has been a delay in the distribution of cloth masks from UArizona to each faculty/staff/student.  The new expected date to begin distribution is ~Wednesday, August 26.  Information and locations can be found at: https://shop.arizona.edu/mask_distribution/.
  *   UArizona Face Covering Directives: Please find links to UArizona's face covering expectations and compliance protocols.  Those with a disability or health condition that may preclude them from complying with the directive must contact Disability Resources Center (DRC).  DRC will explore the concern and determine if reasonable accommodations or alternatives are appropriate.  Note that DRC may request personal medical information to adequately assess the claim.  Unless DRC determines an accommodation is appropriate, all UArizona faculty, staff, DCC, and students must comply with the directive.

  *   Current Travel Policy:  Please see the attached email "Travel" Update for current travel restrictions and requirements.
  *   HR Guidance for Remote Work: It is advised that to the greatest extent possible, work should continue to be done remotely.  I am attaching the Remote Work Agreement from HR to this email.  This document can be used to facilitate the conversation for working remote, setting expectations and parameters to ensure employee success in a remote working environment.
  *   Wildcat Wellcheck Requirement: ALL students, DCC, and employees who are coming onto campus are required to submit a DAILY Wildcat Wellcheck, prior to arriving on campus.  You are required to enroll in the program and then answer a few brief questions about your recent health.  Please be sure to announce this requirement to your students, DCC, and employees (emails will also be sent via the staff and student listservs).  https://wellcheck.arizona.edu/
  *   COVID info: attached is a help document, Return to Campus-COVID, created by Erin to help with COVID requirements and resources available. It will cover face masks and WellCheck listed above, also includes Antigen testing, COVID Watch Arizona App, and additional items for Supervisors including COVID Reporting Protocols and Returning to Work after exposure/symptoms/positive test. Please share and/or post as desired.
