Registration for the 7th University of California, Davis Plant Science Symposium (UCDPSS<http://plantsciencesymposium.ucdavis.edu>) is now open!

This symposium is part of the larger Pioneer Plant Science Symposia Series, which was started in 2008 as student run symposia at universities around the world. UC Davis has been involved since 2012, and this is our 7th year running. In those 7 years we have seen steady growth, attracting over 400 registrants last year. This year's event is being held at the UC Davis Conference Center on April 16th.


This year's featured speakers include Dr. Lucia Gutierrez, Dr. Noah Whiteman, Dr. Elizabeth Kellogg, Dr. Amit Sethi, Dr. Dan Chitwood, Dr. Patrick Edger, and Dr. Stacey Harmer!

The UCDPSS organizing committee is also offering four travel scholarships for up to $500 each to graduate students or post-docs to attend our symposium .Successful applicants will be selected competitively based on their abstract submission and should be prepared to deliver a 5 minute flash talk focused on their submitted abstract on the day of the symposium. The scholarships will be used to cover travel to and from the symposium and accommodations during your stay.
