As a follow up to me earlier message about two men checking unlocked doors in BSW, I have been informed it appears the same two suspects were also in Forbes yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. I've been told by two CALS staff (3rd and 4th floors) that office areas were entered by these individuals,. One employee unknowingly had her credit cards stolen from her purse while it was unattended yesterday, and the suspects used the credit cards to make purchases last night.



Again, keep an eye on things and close doors when not in offices, especially if your office is accessible via the hallway and/or near a stairwell. I remember back in the 1980s and early 90s we had purse thefts in Forbes and it was always in offices in hallway areas.



If necessary, don't hesitate to call UA campus police:

Hi All,

For those who have office and/or lab space in Biological Sciences West: we've just had reports of suspicious activity on the second floor of BSW, two men were checking for unlocked doors and we believe they were looking to take items from any unlocked rooms. Both men have since left the building; UAPD is currently at BSW and will likely issue a campus-wide notice.

Please remember to keep your office and lab doors locked.
