[Plsgs] Seeking Volunteers for a Diversity and Inclusiveness Committee in the School of Plant Sciences

Hi Everyone,

I am writing to ask for your help in developing a Diversity and Inclusiveness Committee for the School of Plant Sciences.

This committee will assess and develop a plan for inclusive excellence in our unit as well as respond to requests for information and action from CALS Administration.  Because we will assess diversity and inclusiveness across our entire school, I am asking for faculty, staff, and student volunteers to serve on the committee.  Dr. Ursula Schuch has kindly agreed to help with the organization of the committee and to serve in either an advisory or leadership role, as needed.

May I ask you to please let me know if you are willing to serve on this committee and help us with this important activity?  I would appreciate hearing from you by Friday, December 23, 2016.
