The UA Graduate Center invites the UA community to attend two upcoming panels on the subjects of Interdisciplinary Research and Collaboration and Academic Writing and Publishing!

Please share these opportunities with your students and colleagues. Both events are free and open to the public.

Panel on Interdisciplinary Research and Collaboration
•        WHEN: April 2, 2015, 5:30PM
•        WHERE: Student Union Copper Room
•        WHAT: Professors John Hildebrand (Neuroscience) and Stuart Marsh (School of Natural Resources and the Environment) and Professor Emerita Paula Fan (Music and the Confluence Center) share their insights and expertise in forming and advancing effective interdisciplinary teams.
•        Light Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served starting at 5PM.

Panel on Academic Writing and Publishing
•        WHEN: April 9, 2015, 5:30PM
•        WHERE: Main Library, ILC 150
•        WHAT: Building upon their experience serving as editors for journals and publications of their respective fields, Professors Tricia Serio (Molecular and Cellular Biology) and Monica Casper (Gender and Women’s Studies), and Dean Marc Miller (College of Law) will share strategies for effective writing and publishing that you can use to enhance your own writing and increase your chances for publication.
