[Plsgs] club meeting

Hi all!

Another month has flashed by and it is time for PLSGSC to meet again. We
will be meeting at Gentle Ben's this Thursday at 5PM. Food and
non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.

I am happy to announce that the Life Sciences Student Association (LSSA)
has accepted our invitation to join us for a PLSGSC-LSSA networking event.
LSSA is the CALS undergraduate student club and its members have interests
in fields across the life sciences. Our hope is that PLSGSC members will
gain insight from these informal interactions by learning about their
experiences in different courses and with previous TAs. We hope to
reciprocate this by sharing our experiences preparing for, applying to, and
succeeding in (hopefully) our graduate programs. We have requested that
LSSA members show up at ~5:15 so that we can quickly cover any official
business beforehand.
