[Plsgs] seminar article for Dr. McCarthy

All,

Dr. Orbach provided us with the attached paper to familiarize ourselves
with tomorrow's speaker. We will be holding article discussions in the
future for speakers from outside of our department, but we will not do so
this week due to the late notice. We agreed to hold such discussions on
Mondays, one day ahead of the seminar, during the last PLSGSC meeting. We
are planning to provide lunch for those that attend (please let me know if
you plan to attend and have any dietary requests).

The next seminar speaker from outside of our department is Dr. Bonnie
Hurwitz from EEB. She is scheduled to present on 10/21. Expect a paper to
be provided about one week before this and please make your best attempt to
attend our discussion on 10/20 at noon. Stay tuned for further details.
