[Plsgs] soccer (real football) this Saturday

Hello all!

Following our complete domination of the ultimate frisbee game, we head
into the second tournament event with PLP holding a commanding 1-0 lead.
Although we firmly believe the outcome would have ultimately (bad pun
acknowledged) remained the same, there is a small possibility that our
victory was aided by PLS failing to field a team. I originally chalked this
up to pure fear, but recently found out that some attendance was hindered
by the PLS journal club held on Thursday evenings.

Alas, the opportunity for PLS redemption presents itself at 6PM this
Saturday, Oct. 11th, at Himmel park (a few blocks east of campus). Invite
your family, friends, undergrads and post-docs. Feel free to bring food and
beverages, but keep in mind that glass bottles are prohibited in city
parks. PLP should wear black/dark colored shirts and PLS should wear
white/light colored shirts. Also, let me know if any of you would be
interested in some sort of pre-game bbq.

We hope to see many of you there and expect to at least have a little
competition this time!
