[Plsgs] Organizational Meeting for Graduate Student Led Summer Journal Club

Addressing the requests of several graduate students,
The School of Plant Sciences Graduate Student Club (SPSGC) wrote a proposal
for a graduate student summer journal club for plant sciences.  This
journal club is not for academic credit, but it will be led by graduate
students in our department and follow a similar format to the current
department journal club.  Twice a month we will cover papers in plant
pathology and plant biology; the selection of these papers will be
determined by the presenters with approval from at least one faculty
member.

If you are interested in the details of the journal club, I have attached
the proposal (which has been approved by Karen and Betsy).

If you want to learn more about the journal club, please mark your
available times on the Doodle Poll.  We hope to have the meeting sometime
next week, in the afternoon and maybe go to University Blvd afterwards.
