If you are planning on graduating this May, please carefully read the
information below from the Graduate College. Several students have indicated
that they are planning on graduating who are not currently listed in the
Commencement Program. Let me know if you need any help with any of the
forms.

Subject: Deadline to Submit Information for Commencement Program - April 2

Dear Graduate Coordinators,

 

This message is to ask you to remind any students graduating in Spring of
the deadline for submitting the proper forms and information for inclusion
in the May Commencement program.

 

To ensure students are listed correctly in the Commencement program, I will
need the following by Monday, April 2:

 

Master's/Specialist candidates: Master's/Specialist Plan of Study reporting
expected Spring 2012 graduation must be submitted.

 

Doctoral candidates: Committee Appointment form reporting expected Spring
2012 graduation must be submitted.  Note that the dissertation title we have
in our records (as reported on the Committee Appointment form, with any
subsequent updates) will be printed as part of the student's entry in the
program.

 

Any student who had reported a different graduation term on the forms above,
but who now plans to graduate in Spring 2012, must notify you or me by April
2 to have their name included in the Commencement program.

 

The current tentative list we have for the Commencement program is available
at http://grad.arizona.edu/live/commencement.  This listing will be updated
periodically to reflect any additions or changes. Graduating students are
encouraged to check their entry and should let you or I know if they see any
errors.  Note that a student who placed an information release restriction
on their student record (i.e. restricting release of their name) will not be
included in the program unless they request we include them.
