Do you mind forwarding this email to your colleagues in Plant Sciences?

Hi all,
Some members of the faculty council thought it would be a nice gesture to pass around a short thank you letter to Shane Burgess for his service as Dean the last 14 years. Our understanding is that he was fighting against more budget cuts in CALES until the end. I've attached it here for you to read. We thought it would be more personal (despite the extra difficulty) to have a hard copy with real signatures. I have left the letter on the coffee table outside my office door at Marley 641D for anyone who's interested to sign. It would be great if we could hand it over to Shane early next week.
